how we started Healpaths?

It's been quite an interesting journey.

During the tough COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020, our co-founder, João Machado, participated in a beta program of an AI platform developed by Dr. Mendel Kaelen.

This program was centered around using AI-created imersive sound journeys for psychedelic therapy, responsive (live) to individual feelings and experiences.

Psychedelics have played a significant role in João's life since his teenage years, especially as a DJ, so he was deeply captivated by the research on the therapeutic potential of music in altered states.

Viewing the lockdowns as a golden opportunity, he invited some friends, including a clinical psychologist, to go deeper into this innovative technology.

They started by drawing inspiration from The Bonny Method, experimenting with sound in non-drug sessions.

Gradually, they expanded their exploration to include pre- and post-psychedelic integration sessions, significantly deepening their understanding of how to create safe remote settings for these experiences.

In late 2022, João decided to launch an open 'healpaths' beta.

As the founder of Dharma5 and with friends from the Mindvalley team, he had an incredible network to support this launch.

The response exceeded expectations!

In 2023 alone, we delivered over 300 remote deep emotional sound journeys and post-psychedelic integration sessions, receiving incredible feedback and countless stories of transformation.

By June 2024, inspired by the high demand and glowing testimonials, we made the decision to focus exclusively on creating uniquely tailored sound experiences.

Do you sell psychedelics?

Nop, we do not sell psychedelics. Our platform operates as a non-judgmental space for those who choose to take them independently.

What makes your sound journeys so unique?

Besides pouring our hearts into it and having created over 500 unique sessions, it's hard to pinpoint just one thing.

It's a combination an incredible AI technology, which allows us to create a sound backtrack that serves as an emotional container for your journey, and then we personalize it with elements of your story and intentions, making each session truly one-of-a-kind.

What role does AI technology play in your sessions?

We utilize cutting-edge generative AI technology that collaborates with world-renowned musicians like Jon Hopkins to craft the emotional backbone of our music experiences, then layer in other sound elements inspired by your personal story.

Is sound really that important to my trip?

How long until i get my sound journey and will it be forever mine?

Once you submit your information, it takes us 3 to 4 business days to create your sound journey.

And yes, it will be forever yours.

I´ve heard that you used to provide integration services, have you stoped doing it?

Yes, we used to offer integration services on our platform. However, due to the high demand for our sound journeys, we decided to exclusively focus on them as of June 2024.
